About Jason Patterson

Jason Patterson started his property journey at 17 years of age erecting farm sheds on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula. By his early 20’s he was purchasing run down properties on the outskirts of Melbourne and flipping them for profit. In his 30’s he was developing prime sites in the inner suburbs of Melbourne and building apartment complexes, townhouse developments and luxury private residences.

Jason has spent the last 40 years working across various parts of the property industry as a renovator, property developer, mortgage broker, real estate agent, and now as a buyers agent.

Together with the team at PPA, Jason is now helping hundreds of clients a year access the highly lucrative but often misunderstood end of the sub $200K property market.

“After going through a difficult divorce in my 40’s I started looking for a different way to rebuild my financial future through property. In this day and age where we are bombarded from all angles on social media by everybody under the sun offering the best property deals which huge returns it can be hard to know what to believe. Unfortunately we are often led by greed and end up the worse off for it.

When I first contacted Jason I was not sure what camp he fell into. Whilst I like to think I can make a judgement from talking to someone we do have to take things at chance. Over numerous conversations with Jason I quickly became comfortable with him and in the product he was offering. He answered any questions I had including many about why he operated in this specific area of property. Off the back of that and from Jason understanding my needs and finances we both agreed what he offered and what I was looking for would be a good fit.

Very often when investing in property you are not physically close to the area. With that you often then rely on a professional. Whilst Jason did a great job in presenting properties to me and in helping me pick one, he did not try and pull the wool over my eyes promising to get a huge discount that would cover the fee. Instead he demonstrated value by his selection of a good asset in the right market which was well priced.

The real value add for me though was in the contacts he had in that market. From the sellers to the property managers and even solicitors I never got the feeling he was being paid to suggest I use these companies more plugging me into his deep local contacts who genuinely have the clients best interests at heart.

I am currently trying to secure financing so I can go with Jason again and hope to buy many more properties with his help. I could not recommend him enough.
